There's been a lot of chatter about the US Government's Tax Credit for home buyers. The new inception of the Tax Credit is just that, a credit. It does not have to be repaid! So, if you were even remotely on the fence about purchasing a home, hopefully money in your pocket might encourage you just a bit.
Things to know. The $8,000 credit is only for buyers who have not owned a home in the last 3 years. Additionally, this credit is only good for a limited time. You have until December 1st of this year to take advantage of the credit.
